Reason why i would like to have this changed to cevo is because i think there can be waaay to many medkits for the survivors at times, plus not enough tanks during the chapters. I think by it getting changed to cevo it will be more a lot more challenging for some players or like my self enjoy having to ration off the 4 medkits you get

The other day I decided to count just how many medkits each team found during a full 5 map versus game. Not counting those in spawn or at the finale stash, the opposing team recieved 24 kits, my team recieved 6 ffs! I VOTE CEVO!!!

So Tailz, How many people are we going to need to vote in this thread before we would change the settings? Does it need to be like over half or something?

The Director has been tweaked in the latest updates to equally supply both teams with medkits and other assortments of items. If they found 24 and you found 6, are you sure you were looking hard enough, Acid? I mean we've all seen survivors completely skip rooms with medkits, pillz, etc from the infected POV. It can happen to anyone, including us.
One thing the director doesn't have right, however, is the number of infected spawned per scenario. I've played games where the opposing team has little to no infected to wade through in the map while me and my team are literally drowning in the sheer numbers of common that are just wandering around the map. CEVO can't fix that.
Oh yeah, one tank per map made some maps damn near impossible to survive. A tank in the second level of Dead Air right when you jump over the dumpster to climb up the ladder to get inside the apartments? Almost a death sentence for the survivors, with a combination of high pounces, the car sitting there and the smoker's death pull. I vote no CEVO.

Gin you make quite a good point my friend =D But Aside from that, the tank is only impossible on that section or dead air. Their are still 3 more sections left for each team to score on. So I think either way it wouldn't matter. Now the earliness of the tanks can't be changed either way, so that also causes an issue as well.
But i still think we should at least run CEVO for a while and see what the results are from it.

Mind providing a link to that update? I searched through steams l4d update records and the steampowered forums and only found more people complaining about the uneven distribution.

My bad, my bad. The equal item distribution is not put in just yet, it's going in the Crash Course DLC. I must've read it and mixed up my info. Right now, item distribution is dependent on both chance and perhaps the skill of the team playing.
EDIT: You can find that bit of information in any article online about Crash Course, but here's one anyways
